Creation of new industries and stimulation of the regional economy
We will utilize the results of research and development that have been conducted based on the needs of the people of the prefecture, including patients and their families, to create relevant new industries and stimulate the local economy.

Promoting more advanced technology

We are promoting more advanced technology in the region's research organizations and corporations. By matching the needs and seeds that are born out of exchanges between patients, their families, and medical care technicians, we promote the shaping of a medical business cluster to commercialize products resulting from our research.

Supporting the creation of new companies and the development of new businesses

In addition to support for entrepreneurs, we are putting in place measures to support the creation of companies and secondary business creation. We are working towards the development of new technologies and products and turning those into businesses, as well as expanding business matching opportunities.

Attract corporations both from Japan and overseas

We will promote Shizuoka as business location by offering support for new installations of plants and research centers. In coordination with municipal business promotion measures, we are working to maintain industrial sites and promote the expansion and concentration of corporations locally.
