Fuji Pharma Valley is located in the eastern part of Shizuoka Prefecture, at the foot of Mount Fuji. Here, our aim is both the creation of new values and also a return to a universal sense of values, such as a focus based on patients and their families and integrity in our approach. We are engaged by the twin goals of improving health and conquering disease on the one hand and putting in place an economic infrastructure for the people of the prefecture on the other. We are doing this by engaging in a very unique area development through the promotion of world-class research and development (R&D), striving for greater health for the people, and building a concentration of health-related industries.

We, taking the standpoint of patients and families, declare to foster and accumulate the wisdom, fight disease together, and support each other, to contribute to the realization of a healthy society. The Pharma Valley Declaration is shared, as a standard of conduct, by all those who are involved in the project.
